Dain Szafranski, J.D.
As a 4th generation Nevadan, with more than a decade of experience inside Nevada’s courtrooms, Dain Szafranski brings a unique perspective to document preparation and legal process support. As the longtime Head Marshal for the Boulder City Municipal Court, Dain worked closely with judges, attorneys, and litigants on a daily basis. His role required ensuring that every procedure aligned with Nevada law.
Dain’s extensive courtroom career inspired him to pursue higher education, earning a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2023. Although not licensed to practice law in Nevada, his legal education, combined with years of firsthand courtroom experience, gave him a deep understanding of how the justice system works and how much of it is truly paperwork-driven.
Through this background, Dain came to recognize a simple truth: many routine legal matters can be handled by individuals themselves, with only minor professional help in preparing and filing the right documents. This realization drove him to establish The Brief Case LLC, a Nevada-registered document preparation service designed to empower people with accurate, affordable, and compliant legal paperwork.

Lauren Szafranski The Brief Case LLC’s Legal Counsel and also the Managing Attorney and founder of Bluebird Injury Law, a fast-paced and growing Nevada law firm serving clients across the state. Originally from Nevada, Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University and went on to graduate from law school in Arizona in 2014. She returned home in 2018, quickly becoming licensed to practice law in Nevada.
